Starting as a street photographer in '97 and then taking it seriously in '98, I was always fascinated with creating photography art rather than just being a photographer. I began capturing landscapes, railroads, parks, and city buildings, striving to be creative with the shots of objects that caught my attention. Over time, I felt inspired to develop my own artistic style in my work.
Using chalk in my street photography was my initial creative outlet. It allowed me to convey my artistic message while ensuring it was completely legal. LOL.
My focus has always been on the artistic aspect of crafting photo books that transport viewers and provoke thought, whether the message is political, societal, or deeply personal. This approach resonates with me, similar to the work of one of my favorite artists, Luis Royo; although he isn’t a photographer, his artistry inspires me.
My passion lies in creating art through photography, made by a human for humans. I aim to encourage people to stop going along just to get along.
Now, at almost 50 years old, I consistently release photo books. I am not just a random photographer; I am a photographer with a purpose, driven by my art projects.
The sky's the limit.
